Dr. Rohr Tidbit Buried In Morning News
"Elizabeth Rohr, convicted last week of defying a judge's order to turn her five youngest children over to their father, had a stun gun used on her by jailers Friday. Tom Reedy, a spokesman for the Denton County sheriff's office, said Dr. Rohr was not complying with book-in procedures and repeatedly sat on the floor without moving. The 46-year-old woman was beginning a six-month jail sentence for contempt. Judge L. Dee Shipman gave her the sentence for her behavior during a weeklong trial on a charge of interference with child custody. Dr. Rohr was convicted of the felony, but jurors did not give her jail time.
