The Texas Public Utility Commission had a hearing today (or maybe yesterday) about whether the non-payment of an electric bill should lead to the disconnection of electricity at a home during the hot summer months.
It's expected to be rejected.
Heaven forbid a poor person's electricity to be cut off in this blazing heat causing the rest of us to bear the cost. We've got satellite TV bills to pay!
