Held: A state cannot enact a statute that imposes the death penalty for the offense of child rape. The death penalty is forbidden for crimes against individuals that do not result in death. A 5-4 decision with the swing vote being Kennedy. (Opinion in pdf format here. HTML version now up here.) And they still didn't release the 2nd Amendment case today. They are born showmen.
