Cops can stop and detain someone when they have a "reasonable suspicion" that some type of criminal activity is afoot. This is what happen when the cops know that the courts, with a wink, have obliterated that standard which for all practical purposes lets them get away with detaining someone based upon a "guess" or a "hunch".
Once again, the aspect of "big government" no one seems to care about.
And I'm a little worried about the exercise of their Freedom of the Press right by Channel 8 here. "Accidentally"?
