Random Wednesday Morning Thoughts
- That's the second fire on the courthouse square this month. Makes me a little nervous.
- Wise County early voting is in, and the Liberally Lean Election Desk can now boldly project that Wise County will remain red. Also, in 2020, the last presidential primary, the first day total was 566 -- 13 less than yesterday.
- Seems like a cluster.
- The Supreme Court is awfully quiet about whether it will allow Trump's D.C. Insurrection case to continue while it considers the absolute immunity appeal.
- Maybe its just me, but these cases seem hard to prove. Wouldn't you have to show that the pills that were sold actually contained fentanyl (with an actual pill from that batch being submitted to the lab)? And also prove that the deceased actually took one of those pills and didn't get it from somewhere else?
- Russia is holding an American ballerina.
- The weird thing about this weird story is that it says the event happened twice within a couple of days.
- I'd be far more inclined to believe this if it were coming from anyone other than Elon Musk.
- That hack "news" organization is going to get crushed in this lawsuit.
- Rudy may be broke and disgraced, but he's still posing for photos.
- This is almost downright weird for today.
- The Business Second™: Dueling headlines this morning.
- That missing girl (below) is a big story in the Houston area. An arrest has been made.
