I had forgotten how much Israel bombed Gaza in 2014.
- The weirdest trial in recent memory has come to end right before Jerry was about to be forced to testify. "Jones agreed to drop the countersuit on the condition Alexandra Davis dismiss all pending litigation, including a paternity suit, against Jones with prejudice, meaning she cannot decide later to bring her initial claims back to court."

- And Brian Kilmeade on Fox News just said that Harris will be speaking to a "colored sorority" today. "She will not show up for the Prime Minister's joint session of Congress . . . she'd rather address in the summer a sorority, a colored sorority, like she can't get outta that!" Good lord. Video.

- The story, short on details, said the incident occurred "53 miles southeast of Bethel, Alaska." Let me tell you, "remote" doesn't even begin to describe that location. Google maps link.
- The Business Second™. I would see from time to time that Conn's would sue quite a few Wise County residents in JP court. I'm guessing their lending practices were very suspect.

- Legal nerdy stuff: The post below is is from a criminal defense lawyer in Houston, but I disagree with that judge whom he quotes. I think a very significant number of criminal defendants actually fall into a third category of "neither of those."
- Or let me put it this way: If a jury isn't scared of the defendant or at least mad at him, those are the cases where the "not guilty" verdicts happen. Those are rare when a jury is scared/angry unless the proof against them is just gawd-awful. (See above post, for example.)
- He was never the same after blowing his ACL with the Cowboys late in the 2021 season.
- We get to hear from President Biden tonight on his decision to withdraw. He sounded really good on the phone call on Monday.
