Random Tuesday Morning Thoughts

A big air disaster overseas happened 10 years a go as well.

  • Two things: (1) Who has $40,000 worth of stuff in their car, and (2) who in the world physically possesses "computer software" these days?

  • This occurred last night at the Shoot Smart gun range in the Alliance area in north Fort Worth.

  • Seems concerning.  One of these days, the whole Internet is going to shut down.

  • Speaking of, even Texas' top law enforcement office can't keep its computer systems up.   If only the $350,000 Man were still working to keep this from happening. Their offices are closed today and tomorrow for the holidays, so we won't know if the systems are back up until Thursday.

  • I've said it before: Soon we will see a major airline disaster in the U.S. which will occur just like this one almost did: On a runway.   This incident was actually caught on video by some guys who livestream takeoffs and landings at LAX every weekend.

  • All the crime stories these days seem to involve teens.
  • This brazen theft is incredible, although I seriously question the $600,000 figure. Video

  • I don't think she has to "file" anything, but it checks out that she would at least be eligible for parole after 30 years.

  • I'm not sure how this Two Act Play is going to work out.
    • They are still arresting people even though Trump promises to pardon the Insurrectionists.

    • And the lead prosecutor of those January 6th Insurrectionists is stepping down. (That's not unusual. All U.S. Attorneys appointed by a president of a different political party resign when there is a presidential change.)

  • As of midnight tonight, Wise County literally has a new sheriff in town.
